Rams WR Puka Nacua enters rehab amid assault and battery accusation: report

Los Angeles Rams pro wide receiver Puka Nacua recently checked into a rehab center after some off-field issues.
Nacua was recently accused of assault and battery by a woman who claimed he bit her on the shoulder on New Year’s Eve. anti-semitic statement.
Neither Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, nor the Rams immediately responded to an email for confirmation.
However, New York Post “It was there for a significant period of time before any of these allegations came to haunt Madison, and it is planned to remain there for some time,” McCathern was quoted as saying.

“The combination of stories you publish is certainly a contributing factor,” the attorney said, adding that Nacua wants to “improve his overall conduct in every aspect of his life as much as he can.”
Plaintiff Madison Atiabi claimed that while they were in a minibus together later that night, Nacua bit her, leaving teeth marks on her shoulder, and that Nacua bit her friend’s thumb.
McCathern vehemently denied that Nacua had made any anti-Semitic statements but described the bites as “banter.”
Atiabi and his attorney, Joseph Kar, allege that while they were together in Century City, Nacua made an anti-Semitic exclamation that disturbed him emotionally.

According to TMZ, McCathern said the “entire claim was nothing more than an attempt to shake” and that the bite “left nothing but a temporary scar.”
Nacua apologized for committing an “anti-Semitic” act in a YouTube broadcast last year. Nakua talked about goal celebrations on YouTuber Adin Ross’ stream, and in the video, Ross instructed Nakua to spike the ball, stretch it, and then rub his hands together. Ross, who is Jewish, referred to the move as his “dance” or “expression”.
But many believed the celebration perpetuated a harmful anti-Semitic stereotype. Nacua faced overwhelming backlash and issued an apology.

Nacua matched his career high with 129 passes for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
