Rana Daggubati sent Baahubali fans into a frenzy after dropping the biggest hint yet about the much-awaited third installment of the iconic franchise.

The surprise comes in the closing moments of Netflix’s docuseries Baahubali: The Torchbearer. During a fun interaction with the cast, Rana jokingly says, “The world may not be ready yet, but Baahubali will happen…” Before he can finish his sentence, Prabhas smiles and raises three fingers, causing everyone present, including Anushka Shetty, to burst into laughter. The documentary then begins with the words: “And the legacy continues!”

This brief conversation sparked a huge stir on social media, with fans interpreting it as the clearest indication that Baahubali 3 is finally on the horizon. Although the makers refrained from making an official announcement, this playful joke further strengthened the speculations about the return of the series.

Baahubali remains one of the most influential film franchises in Indian cinema, transforming the scale of storytelling and creating the enduring world of Mahishmati. Beyond the two blockbuster movies, the franchise has expanded with books, animated content, and immersive experiences, but the possibility of a third movie has always remained the biggest question among fans.
