Wolverhampton murder hunt after shooting victims found in car

One man died and another is in a critical situation after shooting in Wolverhampton.

The couple found a car on Friday, 03:10 BST, after fire on Leicester Street in Whitmore Rest.

West Midlands police, one man died at the scene in his 20s, and the other was taken to hospital with life -threatening injuries in his 30s.

The force added that the investigation was at an early stage and that he called on people to avoid the region and that a series of roads were closed.

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS), critically said that a man received emergency treatment from the police before taking over the medical officials.

“Unfortunately, despite the efforts, nothing could be done to save him, and he was approved at the scene.” He said.

They said that a second man was in a life -threatening situation and was treated at the scene before he was taken to the hospital.
