Rapper Vedan moves Kerala High Court seeking bail in rape case

Malayalam rapper and songwriter Hirandas Murali approached the Kerala Supreme Court, known as Vedan as Vedan, on Friday, August 1, 2025, in search of a bail foreseen in connection with a rape case registered to him on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

The case was recorded by a young woman doctor’s Deputy Kochi Police Commissioner (DCP), Vedan’s complaint with sexual assault in Kochi and Kozhikode more once about marriage security from 2021 to 2023.

He said he chose to record the complaint after he met another woman who has a similar experience with Vedan.

The Supreme Court is expected to think that Vedan is after the defense on Friday at noon.
