The Jefferson County Sheriff confirmed an “active shooter” situation shortly after 5pm local time on Thursday, February 12. They said they responded to the incident in the 32000 block of Ellingwood Trail in Evergreen. mirror reports.

A post on X from the Sheriff’s account read: “The shooter was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Victim information is unknown at this time.”
