School pupil dies suddenly in UK town as families comfort kids | UK | News

Families in a town in England felt great sadness after the sudden death of a school student. Renfrewshire Council confirmed that the child involved was a pupil at Paisley Grammar School in Scotland.
Parents gathered at the school yesterday afternoon to console their children, who were visibly distressed at the gates following the incident. Officers from Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Unit were also deployed to the school to provide support and maintain a sense of security.
A council spokesman said: Paisley Daily Express: “We are deeply saddened to confirm that we have learned of the death of a pupil who attended Paisley Grammar School.
“This is a time of great sadness for the entire school community and our thoughts are with the student’s family and friends at this time.
“School staff have notified students and parents and are offering support to all affected during this difficult time. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected.”
