Rebecca Auborn: Ohio sex worker who met men for sex pleads guilty to killing four with drug overdoses

A woman once described by authorities as a “serial killer” has pleaded guilty to drugging and killing four men after meeting for sex.

Rebecca Auborn, 36, entered her plea in Columbus, Ohio court on December 19.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office said the woman confessed to four counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault.

“Today’s plea brings closure to a compelling case,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said in a statement.

“An overwhelming body of compelling evidence and a rigorous investigation by BCI and Columbus Police leave no doubt that a conviction will result. When law enforcement works together, families have hope of securing justice.”

According to the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, investigators found Auborn was meeting men in northeast Columbus for sex, then drugging them with the intent to rob them.

Authorities linked him to four fatal overdoses and robberies between January and June 2023. Another man survived an overdose attempt in December 2022, authorities said.
