Rep. Lauren Boebert Just Told Every Congressional Staffer to Come to Her Office If They’re Being Mistreated

Rep. Lauren Boebert encourages congressional staffers who have experienced workplace mistreatment or harassment to come forward with their stories; because it will allow them to be the center of attention while maintaining their anonymity when necessary.
“If your boss is being mean to you or anyone else in the office, tell someone,” Boebert told Pablo Reports. “If you want to stay anonymous, stay anonymous. Let one of us noisemakers dig it up for you. I’d be happy to issue receipts for anyone.”
It’s worth noting that Rep. Lauren Boebert insisted she wasn’t picky about who should reach out to her. Regardless of the issue involving chiefs of staff or other prominent staffers working on Capitol Hill, both Democratic and Republican staffers may come forward.
“Whether it is a Democrat or a Republican, whether it is another staff member, a chief of staff, or a senior staff member, if you have something in your power and you have been treated unfairly, my door is open, I will listen,” he said. “And if anonymity is requested, you will receive it.”
Colorado’s Republican representative also discussed how whistleblowing has posed dangers to career advancement throughout the Capitol’s history, adding that the environment has changed for the better for accusers.
“Some of Eric Swalwell’s accusers appear to have been able to find work quickly,” Boebert said. “This has changed compared to previous Congresses where people could ruin their careers by doing the right thing.”
