Republican ‘Architect’ Karl Rove said that Trump will be on the losing side unless things “heat up” enough to justify his forceful deployment of National Guard troops.
Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove has weighed in on Donald Trump’s determination to deploy the National Guard across the country, and he doesn’t have a bright outlook. Rove, nicknamed “The Architect” by George W. Bush, was featured in the Journal Editorial Report on Saturday. The Wall Street Journal columnist and Fox contributor said the president is playing with fire with his current strategy. In addition to predicting that Trump’s popularity will wane, the GOP multi-hyphenate also admitted that he had a hard time seeing evidence that some cities were “war-torn” as Trump described them.
