Respite from heat expected over weekend

Delhiites are expected to experience more rainfall on Friday, May 29, 2026, Saturday, May 30, 2026, and Sunday, May 31, 2026, with the maximum temperature expected to drop to 35-37 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Safdarjung weather station, considered the representative observatory of the city, recorded a maximum temperature of 44.3 degrees Celsius (3.9 degrees above normal) and a minimum of 26.2 degrees Celsius (0.4 degrees below normal), according to IMD.
