London Tube strikes RECAP: TfL chaos with disruption on 10 Underground lines | UK | News

Commenting on the impact of Tuesday’s strike, a Transport for London spokesperson said: “We are grateful to our customers for their patience in making their journeys despite the disruption to our network caused by RMT’s strike.
“Oyster and contactless card interceptions were only down around 10% for the entire day, showing Londoners and visitors to the city were still able to travel despite the strike action.
“We managed to service most lines, with the Jubilee line in particular covering almost 90% of the normally planned mileage.
“We also found that more than 60% of drivers come to work throughout the day, helping millions of people traveling across the city get around as easily as possible.
“We continue to call on the RMT to work with us to resolve the questions over the proposed four-day week and to suspend any future action until this work is completed.”
