Retiring Jota’s Jerswy Was an Incredible Gesture from Liverpool: Stephen Warnock
Liverpool’s new signatures Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, speaking about Jiohotstar’s special show ‘Preview of the 2025-26 season’, shared the excitement of joining the club. Former player Stephen Warnock honored the Late Dioğo Jota’s legacy, praised the club for retiring his shirt number 20, changed his creativity of Trent Alexander-Arnold with signatures such as Jeremie Frimpong and Kerkez, and supported Mohamed Salah to continue to offer goals.
Speaking at Jiohotstar, Milos Kerkez expressed his feelings after signing Liverpool:

He never accepted his football to be in Liverpool. Jota understood his struggles for overcoming his childhood and showed his career in his career.”
Warnock reflected Liverpool in his praise to Jota:

Warnock discussed Liverpool’s approach to changing the creative existence of Trent Alexander-Arnold:
“Trent Alexander-Arnold, knowing that it would be without Liverpool, what was absolutely vital for Liverpool was to find out how to change this creativity. Yes, it usually enters the midfield-a match is flat and a murderer is flat or with a solid transition or a moment with a memory or more. I watched it for a few years with the excess public service position and I believed it was the ideal Liverpool type player.
He also discussed questions about Mohamed Salah’s long life and driving:
“There will always be questions about whether he can maintain his performance at the age of age and still have hunger and desire. But you can see that there is definitely. This is what makes him an elite-one of the best players in the world football.
