RFK Jr. announces 'historic crackdown' on 'broken' organ donation system

On Thursday, the Trump administration announced that the authorities call the country’s problematic organ supply system as “historical” pressure and promised more powerful supervision, accountability and patient security reforms.
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “Every American organ donor should be safe as a gift of life.” He said.
“Nevertheless, the patient safety concerns that lasted for decades have increased more and more Americans from the donor list. Today, according to President Trump’s leadership, we are taking brave actions and historical actions to recover the trust in the organ supply process.”
The lives of organ donors are in danger with hurry transplantation procedures, research findings
For the first time in the history of the USA, the Ministry of Health and Human Services is moving to determine the mid -cycle of an organ supply organization (OPO). (OPOs are typically evaluated only in a planned review period.)
Kennedy, “Miami, Florida -based Life Alliance Organ Rescue Agency, directly due to patient damage has a long deficiency record.” He said. “Only staff may have caused the lack of personnel … Eight every week, the kidnapped organ healing. Every day, he lost a rough life.”
Kennedy shared the story of his nephew Michael, who died at the age of 20 and died at the age of Serebral. The organs continued to save more than one life.

The secretary called for the Americans to think forward, claiming that organ donation was “something we should all think about”.
“This is an extraordinary gift and will make sense of our lives. No matter how different we are outside … We are all inside and we can give each other the gift of life.”
Medicare and Medicaid Services Centers Manager Mehmet Oz underlined the importance of the decision and called the donation of organ “love gift”.
“This is the first time in history, a medium -cycle certificate of an organ supply organization was received.” He said.

Oz also stated that there are currently 100,000 people waiting for organs in the United States.
“While I was talking, another person will be added to this list. Someone waiting for an organ at this press conference will die.”
28,000 donated organs are unique and thrown every year and every kidnapped donation is a lost opportunity to save a life.
Food and Drug Commissioner in the US Food and Pharmaceutical Administration. Marty Makary described the waste of organs as “tragedy”.
Makary, “We have seen conflicts of interest for a long time… The system playing games, inefficiency… For the first time today, we have seen an action against an organ supply organization.” He said.
Thomas J. Engels, the Manager of Health Resources and Services Administration, claimed that modernization has continued and the organization has opened a “direct reporting channel for abuse and security concerns”.

In addition, there will be new investments in programs, including $ 25 million to support living donors by meeting non -medical costs such as lost fees, travel and child care.
Experts also pointed out the future of transplantation science by ending green light nonsense to the first clinical studies for xenotransplantation (animal-human transplants). They also discussed how the 3D pressure of the organs could be applied one day.
Oz said that new reforms have sent a difficult message to other organ supply organizations.
“There is a new sheriff in the city and if they don’t look at the American people, we come for them.”
