Anna Paulina Luna, Donald Trump’s staunch ally, declared that she would personally capture those responsible for allegedly paying nearly $100,000 to hunt and kill innocent civilians in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia.

During the Bosnian War between 1992 and 1996, unnamed residents from Italy, the USA, Russia and other countries allegedly came to the war-torn lands and participated in murder games during the four-year siege of the capital. More than 10,000 people were reported killed during the conflict.

La Repubblica, a local news source, claimed that during the war, visitors from various countries, many allegedly from far-right circles, paid large sums of money for “weekend sniper” trips. The publication claimed that from their point of view they would target unsuspecting civilians and pull the trigger.

Another outlet, El Paris, reported that trips would cost more if participants wanted to kill children. Meša Selimović Boulevard, the main road into the city, was reportedly called sniper street due to the dangers of conflict.

Allegations about the murder games first came to light in 2022, when the documentary Sarajevo Safari lifted the curtain on the sick games with numerous testimonies. A legal complaint filed by Milan-based writer and journalist Ezio Gavazzeni and supported by various Bosnian officials triggered an investigation.

It was later revealed that tourists could pay former Bosnian leader Radovan Karadžić to play these disgusting games. Karadžić, 80, was reportedly sentenced to 40 years in prison in 2016 for genocide and crimes against humanity.

Reports stated that Bosnia’s Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office had halted investigations into sniper tourism because it was too difficult to investigate as the country was still recovering from its wounds. “We are talking about rich, famous businessmen who paid to kill unarmed civilians during the siege of Sarajevo,” Gavazzeni said.

“They left Trieste on a manhunt and then returned to their respectable daily lives,” he added. Attorney General Alessandro Gobbi allegedly has a list of people suspected of participating in the games. Gavazzeni claimed that up to 100 tourists could come.
