RGUKT awards degrees to 34 graduates at Nuzvid convocation

Rajiv Gandhi University of Information Technology (RGUKT) officials awarded degrees to eight M.Tech and 26 B.Tech graduates who completed their courses in the sixth convocation of the university at the Nuzvid campus on Saturday.
University Rector Prof. Kotha Madhumurthy said that diplomas were awarded to students who completed M.Tech and B.Tech programs in the academic years 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 at Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Ongole and Srikakulam RGUKT campuses.
The Chancellor conferred degrees on the students along with chief guest NITI Aayog member Gobardhan Das and RGUKT Vice-Chancellor Maddali Lakshminarayana Rao.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Gobardhan Das said that RGUKT was established with the vision of providing quality technical education to talented youth in rural areas and students from different backgrounds taking different courses in the institution are now equally graduating with strong engineering fundamentals.
Mr. Madhumurthy highlighted achievements including the launch of B.Tech programmes, minor courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and new M.Tech programmes. “RGUKT has developed laboratories, digital learning systems and hostels at a cost of ₹20 crore,” he said.
Administrators, faculty members, students and parents of Srikakulam, Ongole, Idupulapaya and Nuzvid campuses also attended.
