Ricky Hatton: Son Campbell pays tribute to father

During a 15 -year boxing career, Ricky Hatton won 45 of 48 professional matches and became the world champion in a light and heavy weight. Lastly fought professionally in 2012, but in October he planned to return to the ring.

Hatton, nicknamed ‘The Hitman’, founded himself as a very popular warrior in and out of the ring – 30,000 fans traveled in 2007 to watch his championship against the Great Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.

Campbell was also a professional boxer and won the top 14 professional fights. He retired earlier this year.

On Monday, Hatton’s family made a statement they mentioned about the eruption of love and support for him.

“He had a heart as big as his smile, and his kindness, humor and loyalty touched everyone who was lucky enough to recognize him.” He said.
