Rising social media star dies in BMW crash that also killed friend

A popular 22-year-old social media influencer and model was killed in a traffic accident that occurred over the weekend, along with another passenger, authorities said.

Authorities said one of the victims was a Philadelphia-area resident known for her modeling work and lifestyle content as “AYZIA J.” He identified her as Ayzia J. Toledo, known under the name.

Toledo was driving a BMW with two other passengers when he lost control of the vehicle on a New Jersey highway late Sunday night, police told Fox News Digital on Monday.

The vehicle left the roadway, overturned and crashed into a tree in Deptford Township, about 12 miles south of Philadelphia.

“Toledo lost directional control of the vehicle, ran off the road to the left, overturned and struck a tree,” New Jersey State Police said.

Both Toledo and the front-seat passenger “suffered fatal injuries,” according to authorities.

The second victim was identified as Henrietta F. Carter, 22, of Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.

A third passenger seated in the back of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, authorities said.

Authorities said the investigation into the accident continues.

Toledo was a popular social media influencer who frequently shared content about beauty, fashion, and her life in the Philadelphia area. He has amassed over 300,000 followers on his social media accounts; more than 250,000 of them were on TikTok and nearly 87,000 were on Instagram.

Following the news of his death, fans flooded social media pages with messages of sadness and condolences.

According to a GoFundMe page dedicated to Toledo, he was “building an incredible future for himself.”

“Ayzia was deeply loved by her family, cherished by her close friends, and admired by many in her community,” the fundraiser said. he said.

“Ayzia has gone home to Heaven to rest in peace with her beloved mother and grandmother.”

His death came the same day that another young influencer was shot and killed in a drive-by while riding in a Lamborghini SUV in Miramar, Florida.

Authorities identified the woman as 21-year-old content creator Brianna Johnson, known to her followers as DreamDoll Brii.
