Riverdance creator Michael Flatley teases Irish presidential bid
Riverdance Creative Michael Flatley said Ireland is open to nominating for the next President.
Since the term of office of President Michael D Higgins must be held within 60 days before the end of November 11, an election is expected to be largely for the ceremony towards the end of October.
Flatley, who was entitled to work as a citizen of Irish, said that he did not make a final decision on this issue, but consulted a “consultant team”.
Speaking about the Speculation of the newspaper about a potential proposal to RTE Radio One, Irish-American said that he had stopped “everywhere” on the street and asked if he would run.
However, he explained that the speculation was due to his previous appearance in the show with the host Brendan O’Connor.

“Right now, I don’t think they have a sound – it’s not the right voice that you know you are talking about.”

He added that the role was not sure that another politician needed and had spent thirty years to promote Ireland and Irish culture.

Catherine Connolly, the independent TD of Galway West, received the support of independent TDS and senators before the snow.
Fianna perpetrator, the most TDS party in Dail, did not clarify whether he would manage a candidate and decide in the beginning of autumn.
Sinn Fein also did not specify a final decision about the race.
