A new round of gang violence has emerged in Canada, with the notorious Rohit Godara gang publicly claiming responsibility for the shooting attack on Punjabi singer Teji Kahlon.
It is stated that the so-called attack is an extension of the increasing tension between criminal groups of Indian origin, such as the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, operating on Canadian soil.

The Rohit Godara gang has accused singer Kahlon of targeting her for helping her enemies through a social media post. According to the gang, which named its members Mahendra Saran Dilana, Rahul Rinau and Vicky Phalwan in its posts, Teji Kahlon was accused of the following:
- They offer money to their enemies.
- Weapons are distributed to opposition groups.
- To serve as informers (“mukhbiri”) against its members.
- He attacks his “brothers” in a planned manner.
The gang maintained that Kahlon was shot in the abdomen as a direct result of such alleged activities.
Open Threat to Financial Supporters
In a chilling expansion of the threat, the Rohit Godara gang issued a clear, open threat to anyone who would financially support Kahlon or her rivals.
The threat declared that anyone found financially or otherwise supporting the “traitor” (Teji Kahlon) would be dealt with very harshly. The gang openly declared that the families of such abusers would not be spared.
The message was broad in nature as it targeted all types of people.

The gang concluded its speech by stating that anyone who helps their enemies will automatically be considered an enemy of the Rohit Godara gang.
