Reigns has already dispatched rivals to replace his family when it comes to Tribal Combat. Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa have tried and failed over the years. Reigns was trying to “tame” Fatu by making sure he would never challenge her again. One strategy was to eliminate Fatu’s use of the Tongan Death Grip, which he had performed repeatedly.
Reigns used a toolbox to crush Fatu’s hand, holding off the use of the Tongan Death Grip for a time. It will take much more than that to keep Fatu down. Reigns knew he had to dig deep. He pushed Fatu through a barricade and trampled the security guards.

Fatu hit the Samona Drop followed by the moonsault. He couldn’t pin Reigns, though. On the second pin attempt, Reigns hit a low blow on Fatu. The two men who risked everything were gassed to death in the middle of the ring.
Reigns got up and smashed Fatu’s head off the exposed turnbuckle. Fatu was stunned and Reigns threw her through the table. Fatu got back to her feet and Reigns hit another spear. It was the last thing he needed.
Reigns defeated Fatu to retain the World Heavyweight Championship and remain Top of the Rankings.
