Ronald McDonald goes viral after singing the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ at a minor league baseball game
I love minor league sports, and one of the reasons is because you can walk into a game and suddenly find yourself staring down the barrel of a fever dream.
Case in point: Ronald McDonald loudly sings the national anthem at a minor league baseball game.
Charlotte Knights welcome fast-food mascot – no symbol We went to Truist Field, and while we’re all used to seeing Ronald hawking burgers, it turns out his pipes are just as golden as the belts he represents.
I’ve always had a mild case of coulrophobia but never had a problem with Ronald. Probably because I wasn’t afraid he was going to spray mineral water on my face, hit me with an electric joy buzzer, or drag me into a lined van and harvest my organs.

No, that oil-painted oil merchant just wants me to eat a cheeseburger. Something that will probably put me out of commission for the rest of the afternoon.

This happened a few days ago, but the video started going viral later in the week. This happened thanks to a video in which it turned out that the anthem duties were performed perfectly by the country’s leading fast-food spokesperson.

It’s good to see the McDonald ground crew coming back with a vengeance thanks to the sport of baseball.
First, you had Grimace send the Mets on a winning streak with his spectacular first pitch a few years ago (maybe they should bring him back). Now we see Ronald moving like Pavarotti in his prime. Maybe next we’ll see Hamburgers sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” or Officer Big Mac riding a giant unicycle and doing his best Red Panda impersonation by catching bowls in that big sesame-covered dome.
