Royal Family LIVE: Huge Beatrice and Eugenie decision will leave Andrew ‘cheesed off’ | Royal | News

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may be feeling “under the weather” with his family this Christmas as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie decide who they will spend the festive period with. The couple attended a pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday; This marked the first time they had been seen with the Royal Family since their parents were stripped of their royal titles.
To talk Daily Mail Royal Family Royal writer Andrew Lownie said on YouTube that the “sensible thing” for the Princesses to do was to “let themselves loose” this Christmas. He said: “Everyone wants to see what’s going to happen for Christmas and who’s going where. Andrew, I think he’s going to be a bit annoyed that he’s not allowed to join everyone like he did last year. He’s completely lacking in self-awareness. You’d think he’d want to keep his distance after seeing the reaction he got at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral.”
As Christmas approaches, Beatrice and Eugenie face a difficult decision as Andrew and Sarah are not invited to Sandringham.
Mr Lownie continued: “There are plenty of options for Andrew – he could throw a rebel party at the Royal Lodge with his wife, friends and children. Of course that’s the big question: where will Beatrice and Eugenie go? Will they side with the Royal Family… will they show some loyalty to the family, especially given the strained relationship with their father? Or, as I suspect, will they cut loose and just do things with their in-laws or their own family? That’s a logical thing.”
