An insider has revealed why “no one wants to hang out with Meghan Markle” amid claims she has fallen out with her former celebrity pals or that their friendships are not what they seem. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were previously thought to have close friendships with the likes of George and Amal Clooney, David Beckham and Oprah Winfrey.
An insider claims that Meghan and Harry “love famous people” and are “very name-dropping,” Daily Mail reports. Sharing why no one wants to engage with Meghan, the insider added that they believe it’s because of their own fears about Meghan “using their name” for her own gain.
Well-connected broadcaster and former Page Six columnist Paula Froelich of NewsNation told the Mail: “No one wants to hang out with Meghan. There are lots of reasons, but she can sell clothes using their name.” This is in reference to Meghan’s latest venture, in which she promotes her clothes through a fashion app that gives her a 10 percent cut of sales generated.
The insider also revealed that Harry and Meghan do not believe it could be their fault that their friendship has cooled. “They don’t understand. They never think it’s theirs,” they said.
