Prince Harry’s latest surprise visit to Ukraine is indicative of the Prince of Sussex’s behavior, an expert has claimed. This sudden trip, in which Harry met wounded soldiers in Kiev, was described as a “grand gesture” with the potential for “complicated consequences”.

PR and media expert Chad Teixeira told the Daily Express: “The visit is powerful in itself; no one is questioning it. But the timing muddles it.” He added: “There’s a monarchy trying to show unity on the world stage and Harry draws that right into the family drama. It’s the same pattern, grand gesture, messy results.”

During his visit to Ukraine, Harry insisted he would “always be part of the Royal Family”. “I’m here trying to do the things I was born to do. And I enjoy doing it,” he told ITV News at the end of the two-day visit.
