These are believed to be the sentiments of the couple’s friends as a result of the 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex’s surprise appearance and the global attention she has received from her location. That’s because Meghan and Harry have avoided events in Paris in the past, as that’s where her mother, Princess Diana, died in a tragic car crash in 1997.
