Royal Mail to take on 20,000 new workers over busy festive period

Royal Mail announced that it plans to buy approximately 20,000 temporary workers to support delivery operations during the intensive Christmas period.
The postal service confirmed that new positions will spread to two parcel centers, four -seasons parcel ranking center and 37 mail centers throughout the country. This important recruitment driving aims to help the company manage the expected demand increase around Black Friday, cyber Monday and festival season.
In particular, 12,000 postal centers will be presented in the UK, 2,000 in Scotland, 600 in Wales and 400 in Northern Ireland. Royal mail, 2,000 temporary HGV and MGV driver positions, as well as 3,000 delivery and collection role in the UK.
The Royal Mail will set up four extra seasonal sorting centers in Athestone, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Daventry to help him fulfill delivery.
