RPF Secunderabad Nabs 82 Persons for Pelting Stones on Trains

Haydarabad: In 2025, Railway Protection Power (RPF) arrested 82 people for peling stones on the trains at the Secunderabad Department.
RPF Secunderabad Department Security Commissioner Alakunda Naveen Kumar said that more than 6274 raids were carried out during 2025 and that 8917 cases were recorded in accordance with the 147th part of the Railway Law for unauthorized entry.
The surveillance has been concentrated throughout the vulnerable parts of the railway rails and stations, where stone pelting events were reported in the past.
“Each stone pelting case has been found in all efforts. Advanced CCTV cameras, RPF cyber cell inputs and other surveillance equipment were deployed to monitor the railroads more effectively,” he said.
RPF has developed intelligence collection capabilities to identify potential problems and groups with stone pelting. Cooperative efforts with local law enforcement officers, intelligence units and community members have been effective in the timely and accurate information and arrest of 82 criminals about stone pelding on trains.
The RPF inspectors have already formed the consultants, village Panchayat heads and others with local area WhatsApp groups, and regularly published stone pelting results and the legal proceedings initiated in the same way.
