“In 2014–15, I deposited approximately 90% of the cost of my apartment in a 185 -acre district project on the highway near Bengaluru Airport.
The promised delivery date of the project was October 2016.
However, according to Post, even ten years later, less than half of the project was completed. Redditor said, “Buildings are only painted from outside to create an illusion of progress. Most of the lands have been sold to another developer, and the majority are mortgaged for thousands of Crore,” he said.
It was reported that the Buyers Association launched legal proceedings in 2020 and filed a lawsuit seeking non -delivery penalties and repayment with Karnataka RERA. The RERA court ordered the developer to return the buyer’s money with interest.
However, Redditor claimed that the company had stopped repayment through legal tactics, including challenging notifications to add its personal properties. When the Supreme Court put aside such a defense, the developers approached again under the WP 6410/2025, remained in execution and delayed the repayment further.
Redditor also claimed that the company filed for 20 Crore slander against him.
