Trump Education Secretary Bluntly Tells Fox News How ‘Terribly’ American Kids Are Doing in School

Trump Secretary of Education Linda McMahon He gave a surprising answer When asked by Fox News Harris Faulkner how good american kids They do it at school.
“I am excited to give this talk because you are shedding so much light on a challenging topic,” Faulkner began. “First of all, tell us where we are in terms of what kids are doing educationally in the country.”
“We’re in very bad shape,” McMahon said. “I mean, our education system has failed our children. The most recent NAEP scores released right after the president took office – and this is a national report card – only 30% of high school and eighth graders can read well or do math well. Think about it. Public schools across the country are only about 30%. In some places, 35%. But it really sucks.”
Later in the interview, McMahon changed course and said the children performed “very well” on a mobile history exam prepared by the Trump administration.
“I know you and/or your crew are currently on tour in all 50 states,” Faulker said. “It’s a non-partisan tour and it usually includes a speech followed by a history quiz and actually a little bit of a game show, so we’ll get into that. But still queue up the anger of the left,” Faulkner said.
“Although it was non-partisan and entirely positive, at least four stops were canceled in Massachusetts, Alabama and Connecticut. Stops in Wisconsin, New Jersey and Illinois were met with protests,” Faulkner said.
“This is crazy,” McMahon said. “I don’t know what they’re thinking about. If they come and listen to the questions, they’re about the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, our ancestors. It’s learning about our country in terms of citizenship, and most of the questions are about U.S. History. We also have questions tailored to their state. It’s a civics lesson. It goes with the 250th celebration of the president, the 250th celebration of the country.”
“How are their questions going?” Faulkner asked.
“They do a very good job on these questions. Maybe they might have solved these questions before. I don’t know,” McMahon said.
