Russia-Ukraine peace talks break down in Geneva

GENEVA IS TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NOT BEGUN
The second day of talks between Ukrainian, Russian and American officials ended within a few hours in Geneva.
New York Times reports The talks focused on Ukraine’s eastern regions, which Moscow demands as the price for ending the war, which marks its fourth anniversary next week.
Kiev has reportedly pegged this demand as a starting point for one of two reported obstacles to any peace deal, the other being the security guarantees the West would give Ukraine in the event of any ceasefire.
