Russia warns ‘crackpot Trump could nuke Iran’ as WW3 fears explode | World | News

Russian propagandists have warned that “crazy” Donald Trump could launch a nuclear attack on Iran as he reveles in the chaos caused by the conflict.
In a TV program hosted by pro-Kremlin Vladimir Solovyov, a member of the Russian Duma (Russian Parliament) said he was concerned that Mr. Trump might nuke Iran. Semyon Bagdasarov said: “I am not a great expert on Israeli domestic politics, but the opposition openly criticizes Netanyahu, shouts that he has led the country into a deadlock, that he does not have strategic thinking, that he is too dangerous, etc. They are on the verge of launching a nuclear attack on Iran. No one can guarantee that they will not do it.”
After these words, Solovyov repeated his statement, “No one can guarantee that they will not launch a nuclear attack against Iran,” but Bagdasarov could not add: “According to Trump’s circles, he is a lunatic, only God knows what is going on in his head.”
Russian state media has previously mocked Mr Trump over the Iran war, describing his campaign as a “political failure” and insisting there was “no justification” for him to declare victory.
Last month, as conflict in the Middle East entered its sixth week, Kremlin-backed newspapers portrayed the conflict as a disaster for the US President, even as rising oil prices gave Russia hope of an economic revival.
Russian newspapers mercilessly mocked the “arrogant” Donald Trump and even took a veiled swipe at his “fiery” mental state. BBC Steve Rosenberg, who analyzed the content of Russian newspapers last week, said the country’s media did not agree with the US President’s claims of “complete victory” over Iran.
“Trump escaped from the trap he set himself. But only the fervent mind of the American can see this as a triumphant victory,” one of the newspapers reported.
