Kerala Education Infrastructure and Technology (KITE) has launched a QR code-based mobile application to increase security, transparency and accuracy in the conduct of higher secondary examinations in the state.
‘KITE-QTrack’ is designed to provide real-time tracking and monitoring of the entire higher secondary examination process, from opening question paper packets at examination centers to sending answer scripts to evaluation camps.

Secondary education exams will start on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
All chief and deputy chief inspectors have been instructed to install ‘KITE: QTrack’ app from Android Play Store and log in before March 4.
On exam days, from the moment the question paper packages are taken from the warehouse, updates must be made at every stage using special buttons in the application. If an incorrect subject pack is scanned an error message will appear and the information will be immediately reported to the exam wing as an ‘incident’.

Special login information has been prepared
The start and end times of the exams must also be recorded within the specified periods. Special login information has been prepared for all higher secondary regional deputy directors (RDDs) to monitor the process at the state level.
When sending response scripts to camps, details such as tracking number, weight and shipping time need to be entered into the application. The application also facilitates immediate reporting of any malpractice or technical problems encountered during the inspection.
A video tutorial is available on the KITE Victers YouTube channel (itsvicters). Online training for officials will be conducted by KITE master trainers at the district level.
K. Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE, said that the system is part of KITE’s initiative to develop a revamped portal that aims to fully automate the entire examination process from admission to publication of results. Post-review services, including distribution of duplicate certificates, revaluation and review applications, will be implemented through this integrated digital system. With the addition of secure online payment opportunities, students will be able to make all their applications entirely through this digital platform.
