PR firm told Epstein ‘stay away from Andrew’ after prison release | Royal | News

Jeffrey Epstein was told to stay away from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after he was released from prison, new documents have revealed. The late pedophile was jailed for child sex crimes in 2008 and was released just 13 months later.
After his release from prison, advisors told Epstein to stay away from Andrew, formerly known as Prince Andrew. This advice was given to him by PR firm Osborne & Partners in a 2011 plan called ‘Reputation Issues’, as newly released documents show.
It is believed that she was asked to stay away from Andrew because their friendship led to negative press about Epstein in the UK; specifically, The Mail on Sunday had published Virginia Giuffre’s allegations that Andrew had slept with her three times when she was 17; these allegations Andrew had always vehemently denied.
The PR firm had referenced Andrew’s coverage in the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday news in its 2011 plan, with the memo saying: “…it is disastrous that you are in any way seen as facilitating his lifestyle or assisting with his well-documented problems.”
“The only interest they (the UK press) have in you and Ghislaine (Maxwell) is in attacking Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
“You need to scrupulously avoid any contact with the couple, which will diminish interest and we can engage constructively with them on your behalf.”
Daily Mail reports This week the PR firm also told Epstein that changing results on major search engines was another “immediate priority.”
The PR firm reportedly told Epstein in the scheme: “Today, when anyone types in your name, the majority of the first few pages of results refer to accusations, pedophilia, Prince Andrew and unflattering stories, many of which link to Mail websites.
“For other clients we have hired an excellent team of Israeli experts, and there are many companies that claim to be able to optimize results this way but fail to do so. I cannot overstate the importance of this, because for many people it is the first source of information about you.”
Details of Epstein’s 2011 PR scheme were revealed in the US this week.
This is not the first document involving Andrew, who was recently stripped of his royal titles and home in the Royal Lodge by King Charles as a result of his previous dealings with Epstein.
Andrew has always denied the accusations against him.
