Santa pulled over for speeding in Ohio; no coal issued

Santa almost got on the naughty list, but no coal was given.
An elderly couple dressed as St. Nick and Mrs. Claus were pulled over for speeding while visiting their daughter in Ohio.
A deputy from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office approached the vehicle and was immediately surprised.

According to body camera footage released by the sheriff’s office, the deputy can be heard saying “Santa Claus” while laughing.
The man dressed as St. Nick told the deputy he had a “CCW,” a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
“Santa has a CCW?” replied the MP. “Times are tough.”
“You must protect yourself,” said Santa.
The deputy asked the bearded driver for his driver’s license and explained that he had pulled over for speeding.

Santa Claus, who tried to get out of the vehicle, stated that he was “100 years old” and got out of the vehicle.
“Santa, slow down your speed,” the deputy said.
“It’s Nick, you know!” Mrs. Claus said from the passenger seat.
“I’ll make Rudolph attack you!” Santa told the deputy.
The deputy then asked Santa for a photo. Then all three wished each other a Merry Christmas.

“Ho ho *wait!* Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted flying a little too fast in Fulton County. No coal handed out; just a friendly reminder that even the sleighs need to slow down. Christmas is still on schedule! Stay safe and happy holidays!” the sheriff’s department wrote on Facebook.
