School Bus Overturns in Mahabubnagar, Students Injured

The students were on a picnic in Jalavihar when the accident occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Police said several students were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A Mahabubnagar police official said, “The incident took place early this morning, when the school bus was on its way to a picnic in Jalavihar. Several students were injured and taken to a local hospital for further treatment. More details will be given later.”

Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari visited the injured students to offer support and assurance. According to his team, the purpose of the visit was to reassure the students and address the emotional impact of the accident.

In a statement made by the minister’s office, it was stated that Srihari personally contacted the doctors in Shadnagar and instructed them to provide the best possible medical care. He also instructed the officials to stay with the students and meet their needs.

At the scene of the accident, the Minister helped move the car involved in the collision and coordinated the removal of the overturned bus with the help of a crane. It also helped clear traffic as heavy traffic congestion was reported on the highway towards Hyderabad.
