“The vehicle had overturned and Mr Anderson was trapped under the vehicle.”

The investigation was postponed until April.

Aaron’s family paid tribute to the young boy, sharing that he was “a much-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.”

They said: “Aaron was always very happy working on farms and repairing trucks. Even at 14 he had a great work ethic and had already been offered two apprenticeships.

“Although we are saddened by the life he will never have, we are very grateful for the life he lived and we will cherish all the happy memories he left us.”

His family also shared that they’ve had “an overwhelming response from our friends, family, and the local community.”

They added: “We would also like to thank the ambulance service, the police and most importantly the wonderful staff of the Royal Victoria Infirmary and the charities who have provided us with such comfort at this difficult time.

“Our thoughts and best wishes are with everyone affected by this tragic incident.

“We now ask to be left in peace to grieve the loss of our son.”
