Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani donates ₹15 crore to Guruvayur Devaswom for new hospital project in Kerala

Thrissur (Kerala) [India]November 9 (ANI): Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited, offered prayers and handed over a check at Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple on Sunday. 15 crore to Guruvayur Devaswom as the first installment towards the construction of the proposed Devaswom Multi-Speciality Hospital in Thrissur district.

Ambani arrived in Guruvayur around 7:30 am by helicopter and met with Devaswom President Dr. VK Vijayan was welcomed to the Sree Krishna College ground by Administrator C Manoj and Administrator OB Arun Kumar.

She was then escorted to Srivatsam Guest House and adorned with a gold ribbon before heading to the temple for darshan.

Due to special darshan restrictions on public holidays, Ambani entered the temple after lighting ghee lamps for 25 devotees. He prayed to Lord Guruvayurappan at Nalambalam and later took prasadam (melsanthi) from the temple priest. Ambani also made offerings at the flagpole, including garlands, fruits and sugar.

After the rituals, the Devaswom president presented Ambani with Lord Guruvayurappan’s prasadam and a mural as a token of appreciation.

During the visit, Devaswom officials also presented the outline of the upcoming multi-specialty hospital project and details about the temple’s elephants.

Earlier today, Ambani also visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala and offered prayers during Suprabhata Seva here.

It was received by Additional Administrative Officer Venkayya Chowdary, who made special arrangements for Darshan.

After darshan, Vedic scholars offered Veda Ashirvachanam (Vedic blessings) to Mukesh Ambani at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Additional EO presented him with theertha prasadam and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara as a symbol of divine blessings. (MOMENT)
