Scottish minister Jamie Hepburn quits after Douglas Ross assault accusation | Scottish politics

A Scottish Minister resigned after a background on the aggressive seagulls, where he turned into an angry change with former Scottish conservative leader Douglas Ross.
The Scottish Government’s Parliamentary Minister Jamie Hepburn tendered Ross of attacking outside the parliamentary chamber on Wednesday.
The former leader of the Scottish Tor leader claimed that Hepburn had taken him off the shoulder before he was subjected to verbal harassment after he objected to Hepburn Ross fighting Hepburn with the fight against people in the government.
Hepburn rejected the attack, but admitted that he used an aggressive language and led Ross to demand an investigation by the first minister John Swinney within the scope of the Ministry’s Law.
The discussion was not caught by CCTV, but supported another side of an anonymous MSP Ross’ account. Ross accused the government of stopping on a summit plans to fight the seagulls of çıkar out of control ”.
Swinney defended Hepburn, which was widely loved and respected by competitors at the Scottish National Party. Ross, who left Scotland as the Tora leader in a row in the last election, is known to have worked for goad ministers.
In his resignation letter, Hepburn acknowledged that his behavior was inappropriate and said that it was “characterless”. He said: orum I believe that I do not act in accordance with my personal application code, even if the ministry code is violated, even if it does not complain.
“I hope it is felt by most… I have always tried to interact with our own party or with our colleagues in my personal and professional initiatives.
“Despite any trouble I felt at that moment, there is a form that may be transferred or should not really be transferred. This is not to use the language I do.”
“Without a sense of personal pity, it is a source of regret to have served in the government for almost 11 years, and that my term of office in the ministry office ends in this way.”
After Hepburn’s resignation, Ross said he had contacted him to apologize to his behavior personally. He said it was a “right decision”.
After the bulletin promotion
“Jamie Hepburn has accepted the behavior that was less than expected from the ministers, Ross Ross said. “Instead, John Swinney supported him, and he was determined to approve of this behavior until the nationalists wanted to be investigated by independent counselors in the laws of the ministry.”
The resignation of SNP ministers on honor or principle is very rare. Many of them were forced to quit after the emergence of serious and verified abuse allegations, including former Health Secretary Michael Matheson, who faced a parliamentary investigation on how to make an invoice in the IPAD business.
Swinney said Hepburn accepted his resignation with “very personal regret ve, but he left the position with his“ hottest thanks ”. “I know that there will be no one more angry with you on this slip in your approach to normal courtesy and respect for everyone.”
