‘Real reason’ Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein fell out revealed for first time | World | News

Donald Trump has allegedly cut ties with Jeffery Epstein after allegations were made about the pedophile financier’s behavior by a young employee at Mar-a-Lago. Growing demand for the release of the Epstein files dominated the US news agenda in 2025, with criticism of the president calling for more information about the relationship between the pair.
Trump and Epstein were known to be friends in the 1990s and early this century; This was years before Epstein was convicted of solicitation of prostitution and soliciting a minor for prostitution. The two are known to have had a falling out before the financier’s fall from grace, but the exact reason is unknown. Trump previously claimed that he cut off contact with Epstein after he tried to kidnap a Mar-a-Lago employee.
Speaking during his visit to the UK earlier this year, the US President said: “He took people, I say ‘don’t do it again’, you know they work for me… beyond that he took others too.
“When he did that, that was the end of him.”
However, it was revealed that Trump banned Epstein from his resort in 2003 after an 18-year-old beautician complained to his managers that Epstein was pressuring her for sex.
Wall StreetJournal According to former employees of both Mar-a-Lago and Epstein, a fax was sent to the real estate mogul outlining the allegations.
Talkers claim that Epstein became sexually suggestive and would even expose himself during appointments at the luxury resort, where he would receive massages and other treatments.
Former employees claim his behavior was well known among spa staff, and some were sent to Epstein’s nearby mansion upon request.
But the young beautician’s complaint is believed to have been the last straw and the billionaire was banned from the resort due to inappropriate behaviour.
It remains unclear whether further formal complaints were made before Epstein was banned, but the allegations are not believed to have been passed on to the local police force.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt expressed disappointment over continued reports about the relationship between Trump and the pedophile who was found dead by suicide in his prison cell in 2019.
He said: “No matter how many times this story is told and retold, it remains true.
“President Trump did nothing wrong and kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago because he was a creep.”
The statement comes after the US Department of Justice said it may need “a few more weeks” to release all of its records on the late sex offender after suddenly discovering more than a million potentially relevant documents.
This situation further delays compliance with the congressionally mandated deadline from last Friday.
The Christmas Eve announcement came hours after a dozen U.S. senators called on the Justice Department’s watchdog to review noncompliance with the deadline.
The group, which includes 11 Democrats and one Republican, told Acting Inspector General Don Berthiaume in a letter that the victims deserve a “full explanation” and the “peace of mind” of an independent review.
The Justice Department said in a social media post that federal prosecutors in Manhattan and the FBI “uncovered more than a million more documents” that may be related to the Epstein case; It’s a striking 11th-hour development after department officials claimed months ago that they had conducted a comprehensive review that disclosed a vast universe of Epstein-related materials.
The post did not specify when the Department of Justice was notified of the newly revealed files.
