Search operation launched after suspicious movement in J&K’s Kathua

Authorities said that on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, security forces, Jammu and Kathua region in Kathmir, started a search operation after receiving information about the suspicious movement in the Rajbagh sector.

Authorities, the search operation, near the international border near the village of Jhathana in the region of the UJH River Police and Border Security Force (BSF) was initiated jointly by the region, he said.
They said that the locals reported the movement of three suspects who carried a heavy backpack and that the joint search parties were moved and that they had carried out a comprehensive screening operation since the early hours of the morning.
