Search underway for missing Northern Kentucky University student

According to police, the search continues for a 22-year-old Northern Kentucky University student who went missing about a week ago.

Missing student Murry Alexis Foust was last seen April 27 in Covington’s Latonia neighborhood, about nine miles south of Cincinnati, according to a statement from the Covington Police Department.

Police officials said in a statement: “There are no signs of ill-treatment at this time. We understand the family’s concern and share their concern during this difficult time.” he said.

Police asked for the public’s help in finding Foust. “Concerns have been raised for their safety and your input could be crucial,” police said.

The Covington Police Department released the surveillance footage, which Foust described as “the most recent surveillance footage we have found.” Quote from ABC affiliate police officials WCPO Authorities in Cincinnati said security footage of Foust, who was seen walking through the Latonia neighborhood with a tan or yellow backpack, was taken around 6 p.m. local time on April 27.

“Northern Kentucky University is aware that one of our students, Murry (Alexis) Foust, has been reported missing. We are deeply concerned and our thoughts are with their families, friends and everyone affected,” a university spokesperson said in a statement. he said. “The Covington Police Department is leading the investigation, and we are fully cooperating and supporting their efforts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Covington Police.”

Police officials said they used multiple resources to search for Foust, including water rescue and search teams and drone operators.

In an interview Friday, Foust’s father told WCPO that there have been unconfirmed reports of sightings of Foust since the student was reported missing, including Friday. But the father said no one had heard from Foust.

According to WCPO, Foust is studying fine arts at the university’s College of Arts and Sciences and will graduate next week.

Foust’s friends told WCPO that Foust was planning to attend a class at Northern Kentucky University on the afternoon he disappeared. According to WCPO, friends said Foust’s phone was found at the student’s home and Foust’s backpack was found on the college campus.

“We don’t know what happened. They could be in danger,” Foust’s friend Eve Miller told WCPO.
