Sebi order casts shadow on Rajesh Exports’ battery PLI project

“Sebi’s order against Rajesh Exports, albeit indirectly, raises questions about the governance and implementation readiness of the battery manufacturing commitment under the ACC PLI scheme, as Rajesh Exports’ ACC Energy Storage Pvt. Ltd is one of the beneficiaries of the scheme,” said Alekhya Datta, director of power and renewable energy division at New Delhi-based think tank Energy and Resources Institute.
