Second Indian Student Dies in US House Fire

Vijayawada: Death toll in house fire in Albany, US, rises to two, according to Indian mission; Anvesh Sarapalli, who hailed from Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh, died due to burns on December 6.

The Consulate General of India in New York expressed deep sorrow and said it was in touch with the family of Sarapalli, who later moved to Kukatpally in Hyderabad.

The fire broke out on December 4. Sahaja Reddy Udumula (24) from Uppal in Hyderabad, who was asleep at that time, died on the same day due to severe burns and organ failure.
