Police launch search for man after missing woman found dead at home south of Brisbane
New South Wales police arrested a 36-year-old Logan man in Kempsey after his carer was found dead at his home, about 370 kilometers from where he was arrested, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The 46-year-old woman from Ashgrove was reported missing by her family around 1 a.m. Monday morning.
He was last seen at around 7pm on Saturday after dropping off a relative at a party at The Gap in Brisbane’s western suburbs.

Investigations led police to a property on Waterford Tamborine Road in Buccan, south of Brisbane, to conduct a welfare check at around 3am on Monday.
Police said the woman who worked as the man’s caretaker was found dead on the back deck of the property with injuries to her body.
While the crime scene has been declared, forensic police continue their work at the scene.
Late on Monday a Queensland Police spokesman said the man was arrested in Kempsey, NSW.
“The man is expected to appear in court in NSW tomorrow and detectives from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit will travel to New South Wales to speak to the man regarding the matter,” the spokesman said.
