At the time of the trustees’ resignation, Dr Chandauka rejected their statement and described Harry’s departure to Sky News as “harassment and bullying on a massive scale”.

He also took issue with how the news was made public without his prior knowledge.
In a statement to The Times, Sentebale said: “This matter is subject to active legal proceedings. It would therefore be inappropriate to comment on any matter or share non-public documents.
“We can confirm that Sentebale has acted in accordance with its legal and regulatory duties, including appropriate management and oversight. The charity has been in full dialogue with the Charity Commission for months, including before submitting this claim.”
Founders Harry and Prince Seeiso had stepped down as bosses of the charity to support a group of trustees.
The Charity Commission later published a report into the episode, criticizing all parties to the dispute for allowing the incident to play out in public.
He explained how all trustees had contributed to a “missed opportunity” to resolve issues that had led to serious disagreement that risked undermining public confidence in charities generally.
Unable to investigate individual allegations of bullying, the regulator found no evidence of systemic bullying or harassment at the charity, including misogyny or misogyny, but acknowledged there was a “strong perception of mistreatment” felt by some people involved.
