Self-confidence Makes Everything Possible: Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said self-reliance is the power that makes anything possible and will help realize the dream of Viksit Bharat. His remarks came hours after the United States and India agreed on a trade deal under which Washington would reduce reciprocal tariffs on Indian goods to 18 percent from the current 25 percent.
“Self-confidence is the power with whose help everything becomes possible,” Modi said in a Hindi post on X. The Prime Minister said that this power of citizens will be extremely beneficial in realizing the dream of a developed India. Modi also shared a Sanskrit couplet that means wealth is earned through good deeds.
“(Wealth) grows with courage and self-confidence, remains stable with skill and efficiency, and contributes to the progress of the nation when maintained with discipline,” the couplet said.
