‘Serious failure’ behind KPMG allegations: Whistleblower

The whistleblower behind the revelations of misconduct at the highest levels at accounting giant KPMG has branded his former firms unreliable in an explosive statement prepared by a powerful parliamentary committee.

The four documents submitted to the firm and financial services committee investigating the KPMG allegations include an affidavit from the whistleblower, as well as three lengthy denials of arguments put forward by the beleaguered firm’s engagement partners against allegations of misconduct. This conduct includes allegations of misuse of client documents.
