Seth Rollins deals with locker room resentment ahead of Bron Breakker Backlash match

Trust and loyalty were two of the biggest themes on “Monday Night Raw.”
No one on the WWE Raw roster has confidence in Seth Rollins, while Liv Morgan questioned Roxanne Perez’s loyalty following her impromptu meeting with Finn Balor last week.
Let’s go to Rollins first.
“The Visionary” broke the trust of many when he aligned himself with Paul Heyman to take out Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 1 last year. He won the World Heavyweight Championship and brought Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed into his group The Vision, which later disbanded under his watch. Breakker and Reed attacked him as he watched Austin Theory and Logan Paul join the group before WrestleMania 42.

After losing to Gunther at WrestleMania 42, Rollins turned his sights to Breaker. Although Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (Street Profits) appeared to have his back, they made it clear that they did not trust him. Trust issues resurfaced when Breakker brutalized Rollins at the start of the show and dealt with Ford and Dawkins later in the night.
Ford and Dawkins jumped Theory and Paul as Theory faced Joe Hendry in a singles match. Breakker handled Ford and Dawkins with relative ease. Rollins showed up to save Street Profits. However, Rollins was momentarily distracted as Ford led Theory and Paul away from the outside. He allowed Breakker to hit another spear on Rollins.
“Tez, thank you for bringing me the second spear, man,” Rollins said to Ford from behind.
“Well, Seth, no one trusts you thanks to your past antics with The Vision,” Ford retorted.
“Nobody trusts me. You don’t trust me. I don’t even know you (pointing at Hendry), you probably don’t trust me,” Rollins responded. “Guess what? I don’t even trust myself. Who cares? We’re in the same fight. You fight Vision, I fight Vision. Sometimes these fights will come together. Here’s the deal, you get out of my way, I’ll stay out of your way.”
Rollins walked away with the last word. He will face Bron Breakker at Backlash on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Morgan put Perez to the test. He wanted to make it clear that “The Prodigy” would not side with Balor and further tear the group apart.
“What was Finn doing in the clubhouse last week? You see, I’m not worried about Finn, Roxanne, because JD is going to take care of Finn tonight,” Morgan said to Perez. “I’m worried about you. Why did Finn think it was okay to talk to you and why didn’t you tell me and why do I have to watch Netflix to find out what’s going on on Judgment Day?”
Perez said he didn’t say anything because he made it “very clear” to Balor to take him out of the clubhouse and not return.

“You’re right though, I should have said something. But Liv, you know I’m loyal to Doomsday,” Perez responded.
Morgan made Perez promise to “keep no more secrets from the family.” Perez agreed and repeated what Morgan had told him.
Perez then helped Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio distract Balor during his match against McDonagh. It looks like Perez has made it clear where his loyalties lie.
Morgan then said that Rodriguez and Perez would go after tag team champions Brie Bella and Paige.
Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu sign contracts

Roman Reigns was buzzing heading into “Monday Night Raw” after receiving a Tongan death grip from Jacob Fatu to end the show last week.
He didn’t want to hear anything Raw general manager Adam Pearce had to say. But after Pearce said Fatu wasn’t in the building yet, Reigns waited his turn to address the “Samoan Werewolf” until later in the night.
The two met in the ring to sign the contract for their World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash. As Fatu worked her way into WWE and became a main event performer, Reigns made it clear to Fatu that he was always watching her from afar.
After Fatu said that it was Sikoa who brought him to WWE in the first place, he said, “I was the one who kept the door open for Solo (Sikoa) in this company.” “Was it Solo that broke you in, huh? Guess what, I brought Solo in, so I let you in too. And I’ll be damned if I’m not respected in this business.”

Reigns questioned Fatu’s use of the Tonga death hold, saying Fatu used it as a “desperate” measure.
“You don’t do that to your family,” Reigns said. “You don’t do this to yourself. You don’t do this to your ‘Tribe Chief’.”
Fatu looked at Reigns before answering.
Fatu said, “Yes, I’m helpless. Yes, it feels like it’s just me against the world. Yes, my back is against the wall. So I had no choice but to take you down and take this title and everything that comes with it.” “And to keep that at 100, then I’m going to strangle this game and squeeze every dollar and every cent out of it, just like this company has done to our family for decades.”
Fatu said he has no intention of going back to where he came from and is as “desperate” as ever to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Reigns said he is not only concerned about Fatu’s “seven children” but also the generations before and after them.
When Reigns said Fatu was “beneath him”, Fatu stood up and tried to impose deadly Tongan dominance on Reigns again. Reigns threw a desk chair at Fatu. Reigns dodged it as Fatu tried to go for the death grip again. Fatu eventually gained the advantage and finally ended Tonga’s deadly dominance over Reigns.
Fatu signed the contract and the match became “official”.

Sol Ruca steps into the role of “The Man”
There were a few celebratory moments on “Monday Night Raw” as newcomer Sol Ruca “officially” signed his contract with the Raw brand.
Pearce said he misses the days when he was in NXT and a “blue chip” prospect could sign with one of the major brands. “Today was one of those days,” he said while introducing Ruca to the crowd in Omaha, Nebraska.
Women’s intercontinental champion Becky Lynch interrupted the tough fight. He claimed Ruca should have been given time to celebrate his greatness and was upset that Pearce booked a match against Iyo Sky last week.

“Becky, not everything is about you,” Ruca said. “Everyone knows who you are. I know who you are. I know what you’ve done, and I know everything you’ve accomplished. But the thing is, when I met you, I didn’t expect to find out that you were exactly what everyone said you were… a mean, big-headed bitch.”
Lynch was stunned and asked if the crowd would let him talk to her like that. The crowd was seemingly backing Ruca in the trade.
“I’m Sol Ruca, and if you ever interrupt me again, I’ll not only kick your ass, I’ll snatch your soul,” he added.
Lynch went to hit Ruca, but he slapped Pearce instead. Ruca hit Lynch with the Left Snatcher to end the segment. Lynch appears to have a new challenger for her title.
