Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby tells Fox News Digital he plans to attend the UFC fight at the White House on June 14 to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
“I’ve never been to the White House,” Crosby said. “I’m excited, I love history…
“It’s incredible that we all have the opportunity to celebrate our country and be part of a historic event…we live in the greatest country in the world and it should be celebrated.”

For Crosby, a highly successful NFL star, this celebration represents an opportunity to recognize the freedoms and opportunities he values most as an American.
“You have the opportunity to pursue your passion every day,” Crosby said. “Everyone comes from different backgrounds, but every day in this country you have the choice to pursue what you love and what you want to do. People don’t call it the American Dream for nothing. This is the greatest country because of opportunity. This is a land of opportunity.”
Crosby also revealed who he was supporting at the event.
“I think everyone knows how much I love Justin Gaethje,” Crosby said. “Justin Gaethje is one of the best fighters to ever do it, and he’s definitely a legend. He’s also a great friend, so I’ll definitely be biased against him. I definitely want him to go to the White House and do his job.”
The fight, scheduled for the South Lawn, came about after Donald Trump casually leaned in to Dana White during a live UFC match and suggested they “fight in the White House.” White agreed immediately, and logistics were put into action days later.
“Dana White is like family to me. He always does big things and he always does it in the biggest and best way. He will always put on an incredible show,” Crosby said.
“I’ve met Trump a few times and he’s been incredible to me,” Crosby later added. “I know Dana [White] He thinks of nothing but his world and has great respect for it. But you know, we met a few times and he was always very nice to me. “So it’s definitely going to be a lot of fun to go to the White House and be there.”

Crosby also said he would welcome the opportunity to represent the United States in flag football if the sport makes its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
“No doubt,” Crosby said when asked if he would consider playing. “I think it will be incredible.”
While Crosby noted that his family’s roots are in the Balkans, he made clear where his allegiances lie if given the opportunity to compete on the international stage.

“I’m of Yugoslavian descent on my mother’s side, so there’s a little bit of Serbian and Albanian in me,” Crosby said. he said. “I’m sure they’ll call me too, so it would be an interesting decision.”
Still, the Raiders star said his heart remains in the country where he was born and raised.
“Everybody knows my heart is here,” Crosby said. “This is the country where I grew up, was born and raised, so yeah, it would definitely be special.”
Crosby was also asked if he would try to get Raiders minority owner Tom Brady to be the starting quarterback for Team USA if he made the Olympic roster.
“I don’t think he’s going to do that,” Crosby said with a laugh. “I think he retired and there are a lot of great quarterbacks now. But I wouldn’t be mad at Tom Brady coming back. It’s a great time.”
Preparing Fernando Mendoza for the NFL
Crosby also had high praise for quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who is adjusting to life at the NFL level after a successful college career.
“He’s a young guy and he’s coming off an incredible season and an incredible college career,” Crosby said. “But when you come to the NFL, you have to start from scratch.”
The experienced defender said Mendoza impressed him with his willingness to learn and adapt to the locker room.
“I think he’s done an incredible job of being one of those guys, being humble, being a sponge, learning from everybody and asking questions,” Crosby said. he said.

But Crosby won’t make it easy against the fresh-faced rookie in practice.
“There’s no easy way around this,” Crosby said with a laugh. “We play this game one way, and I’m just going to go out there and do what I do. It’s going to help him in the long run and make him better. I want to push all my teammates. That’s how teams develop; pushing each other and making each other better every day.”
While many young quarterbacks are readily compared to established NFL stars, Crosby said Mendoza should be given the opportunity to establish his own identity.
“A lot of times people try to make comparisons,” Crosby said. “People need to let Fernando be Fernando. I think he will be a really special player.”
Playing for Tom Brady
Crosby also talked about the opportunity to play for an organization that is minority-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady.
“Tom has had one of the best careers, if not the best career,” Crosby said. “He is an incredible player and has won at the highest level.”

Although Brady is not involved in the day-to-day operations of the franchise, Crosby said having someone with his experience in the organization is a valuable resource.
“Anyone who is around an organization that does this at this level is positive,” Crosby said. “He’s not always there, but he’s a resource for the people in that building. I think his winning mentality is just a plus.”
Crosby only played Brady once before Brady retired.
“I wish we could have made a few more moves,” Crosby said.
A great partnership
Crosby’s appearance on Fox News Digital came as part of a partnership with SAXX Lingerie, which she said immediately caught her attention for more reasons than one.
“Obviously, everyone knows I make a living by sacking quarterbacks, so the name alone impressed me,” Crosby joked. “The double X was a bonus, too.”
But beyond the name, Crosby said he’s a fan of the product himself. Crosby said the product has become part of his daily routine.
“I literally wear it every day,” Crosby said. “I wear it during training, I wear it around the house, I literally wear it everywhere I go.”

“It’s not NFL certified yet,” he said. “But of course I’ll wear it to the games.”
