Bill Clinton’s spokesperson demands release of ALL Epstein files on ex-US President | World | News

Bill Clinton’s spokesman has called for the release of all Jeffrey Epstein files related to the former US President. Several photos in the Epstein Files, released by the Justice Department on Friday, showed Mr. Clinton. In one, he could be seen in a swimming pool with Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. Today, three days after the Epstein Files were released, Mr. Clinton’s spokesman, Angel Ureña, released a statement saying the former US President does not need protection when it comes to the files.
He claimed: “The statements the Department of Justice has made so far, and the way it has done so, make one thing clear: Someone or something is being protected. We don’t know who or what or why. But we do know this: We don’t need such protection.” The former president was photographed multiple times with Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger during Friday’s broadcast.
The presence of the picture in the Epstein files does not imply any wrongdoing. Mr. Clinton has not been accused of wrongdoing and has denied knowledge of Epstein’s sexual crimes.
Mr. Ureña was previously indicted Donald TrumpThe day the latest set of files was published is an effort by management to “protect themselves from subsequent events.”
He wrote of
“It’s about protecting themselves from what’s coming or what they’re going to try to hide forever.
“So they can post all the grainy over-20 photos they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. It never was, it never will be. Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton.”
Most of the published documents have been redacted; This was something the law allowed the Justice Department to do when it came to material related to active investigations or records containing “personally identifiable information of victims.”
In a 2002 New York Magazine article, Mr. Clinton, through his spokesman, called Epstein “both a highly successful financier and a devoted philanthropist.”
When Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges in July 2019, Clinton’s spokesman said the former president made four trips on the sex offender’s private jet between 2002 and 2003, including “stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation.” This happened years before the allegations against Epstein emerged.
The U.S. Department of Justice released thousands of pages of documents related to the late sex offender on December 19. However, not all materials were made public.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said last week that the Justice Department is reviewing its material to protect the identities of victims and will release potentially hundreds of thousands of additional files in the coming weeks.
He also said, “There’s no effort to hold anything back because the name Donald J. Trump or anyone else’s name is out there.”
The White House has been contacted for comment.
